Priset test shoot - Day 1. Ana our lizzard/gecko queen contructed the final version of our paper friend. The rest of the day we worked on the set up in the studio, cutting paper, cutting some more paper and we made some rough stop motion shots. Tomorrow another day filled with paper and I don’t mean plata!

Cutting paper like there is no tomorrow. The team is producing at the same speed as we can drink Cachaça. We’re happy to show you some pictures of our preset process. Hasta manana, manitos!

Production has started! We have been 3d modeling, papercrafting, illustrating and acting out our concepts and now it’s crunch time. With some feedback sessions on our way and the final presentation just behind the door it’s going to be a diet of caffeine, energizers and habanero chili to stay awake.

Que onda! Yesterday we ended up with two concepts. We invited some fresh brains (read El Cartel members Roy and Kevin) to give it a technical edge. After developing both directions, some air guitaring, napkin sketches and Swiss chocolate from our CD we were able to make a decision. Hasta la proxima!

El Cartel had a busy day today. Ideas were being murdered and we narrowed it down to the final two. We did some heavy brainstorming, sketching and created our own energizers (ways to keep the mind fresh). In the meanwhile we had idea man coming to our rescue and got some class experts to give us feedback.
